Romeo Sarti choose the cashwool® of Zegna Baruffa. A yarn that stands apart for many reasons: The Raw Material: the charateristics of the extrafine Merino wool used ensure the exceptional elasticity of the yarn, extremely bright and solid colours and the unparalleled softness of the finished garment.
The “secret” of the prestige of cashwool® lies mainly in the expert selection of the raw materials. After the sheep is sheared, only the parts of the fleece with the best characteristics in terms of average height, fineness, style and minimal presence of black or coloured hairs, or vegetable fibres, are chosen.
The chosen extrafine Merino wool is therefore compact, white, crimped and very fluffy all important characteristics for obtaining a yarn of top quality external knitwear.
As regards micron selection, finally, cashwool® is produced exclusively with fibres of a fineness of less than 19.5 microns.
Processing: cashwool® is produced exclusively in Zegna Baruffa’s plant following transformation processes perfected by continuously updated using the most modern technologies. The treatments and dyeing phases that the raw material undergoes are carried out in total respect for the environment and society.
End Product: garments produced with cashwool® have immediately recognisable texture: slide your finger gently across the surface of a jumper and feel its particular softness.
